Adventurer's Index, France, Galleries Pavillon Vendome in Aix: Knowing It’s Near the Street Where We Live Posted on May 26, 2016March 7, 2018Author Slowlanefrance We live 3 blocks from Pavillon Vendome. It was built between 1665 and 1667 for the duke of Vendome. We pass through it nearly every day. It features a pond stocked with fish and a magnificent rose garden where people sit every day to smell the flowers. We found these young lovers. Oo-la-la. It’s France you know.

I’ve forwarded your blog to a friend who is coming next week to a U-Michigan immersion program in Aix. They will attend classes half days at the Institute. She said your articles have made her so excited about her program. Reading your new posts just a makes me want to hurry back to Aix. Enjoy!
Many thanks. Lovely to hear from you again.
