Pavillon Vendome in Aix: Knowing It’s Near the Street Where We Live

We live 3 blocks from Pavillon Vendome.

It was built between 1665 and 1667 for the duke of Vendome.

We pass through it nearly every day.

It features a pond stocked with fish

and a magnificent rose garden

where people sit every day

to smell the flowers.

We found these young lovers.

Oo-la-la. It’s France you know.
