Adventurer's Index, France, Galleries Devon in Provence Posted on May 29, 2016March 7, 2018Author Slowlanefrance It was magical, for Kathy and me to take our grand-daughter Devon to our favorite place, Aix-en-Provence, France. She visited our school, the sprawling market, and Pavillon de Vendome. We went to the Caumont Museum with our friend Tom. Devon also saw other sites. LIke this Roman ruin in Nimes, the stockade at Les Baux, and this cave hiking on Mont Sainte Victoire. Cassis on the Mediterranean was special. She and I went swimming. We also took a boat ride, and Devon took the helm. The next day, we visited Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. In Gordes, Devon posed with Antonia. In Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, we rested by the river. Devon ended her trip with a game of boules with my students. She posed with Riley and Ana Beatriz. And, of course, had yet another ice cream.
