I’ve taken to watching the sunset

at Bristol Beach in Falmouth Heights

In winter, the sun sinks in sight.

Christmas night wasn’t the best

of some glorious recent sunsets.

But then, it was Christmas.

The sea was calm and life felt peaceful.

A chance to breathe deeply.

I’ve never measured a successful trip by how many destinations I can circle on a map or check off a Bucket List. To me the best journey, and the best ravel, moves more like a good conversation.
